They have a soft foam Dabber top with a self- sealing plug inside, you just tip them upside down and off you go with wishy-washy, drippy colour."

Tim Holtz® Distress Stains™ Distress Stains are fluid water-based dyes for papers and other porous surfaces. Use for quick and easy ink coverage for backgrounds and larger areas. Mist with water to lighten color and create mottled effects. Apply layers of stain to achieve more saturated color. Available in the entire Distress color palette. The brushed nylon dabber top has a built-in spring valve. This allows for controlling the release of Distress Stains from the bottle. By pressing the dabber top down onto surface, the valve opens and fluid releases. Lift dabber away from surface to stop fluid flow. Spread Distress Stains by swiping the dabber top lightly as a brush across the surface. Note: If Distress Stain project will be used outdoors, first seal with a weatherproof sealer.
• Acid free, non-toxic
• Fade-resistant dyes
• Dabber top with spring valve control
• Available in 1 fluid ounce bottles
"Use for quick and easy ink coverage for backgrounds and larger areas like tags, canvas, idea-ology trimmings, and of course the new kraft resist papers. mist with water to lighten color and create mottled effects or apply layers of stain to achieve more saturated color. the tip is a fabric covered dabber top with a built-in spring valve (like a stamp cleaner bottle). this allows for controlling the release of distress stains right from the bottle simply by pressing down onto surface. the valve opens and stain releases, then just lift away to stop the flow, or swipe lightly across the surface to spread out the stain. the distress stains coordinate the all of the other distress products including the embossing powders, crackle paint, stickles, and most importantly distress ink pads. i just love this new way to distress larger areas, fabrics, grunge, trimmings, wood and more in a matter of seconds. can you tell i'm out of control excited for these?....aghh!"
