The Prismacolor Colorless Blender uses a special formula to soften hard edges, and to lighten or blend colored pencils. Use it for a smooth, blended look. With the Colorless Blender, colors can be layered on top of each other without cloudy build up.

Also available is the Prismcolor brand pencil sharpener which sharpens pencils to a rounded point, these pencils are not designed to be sharpened to a very fine point.  For fine lines and detail it is best to use Prismacolor Verithin Pencils.
